Does God always answer prayer? Yes He does, but in ways that is best for all concerned in accordance with His Word. Jesus said anything that we ask the Father in His name, that He will do.

God is faithful to His Word. He cannot deny Who He is. But often the delay comes from us. We want God to heal and restore as we want, yet He might have a greater plan in saving us and redeeming others.

It takes courage to pray and say: "Not my will be done but Yours. Whatever You desire of me, that I will give. Do what You know is best."

That is what prayer is all about. Asking God to help us not based on our own understanding but on His. Prayer teaches us to pray in the Spirit while we are seated at the right Hand of Father in Christ.

Prayer can move mountains. Restore lives and heal the sick. Prayer can carry a loved one into the arms of God and prayer can wipe away every tear that falls.

We pray because of Him who hears us. We pray because of Him that knows no impossible. We pray because regardless of the outcome, God's will WILL be done.

Its heartbreaking when someone prays for the sick and God decided to take their loved one. Its heartbreaking to witness death but... there lies a promise. In Christ they will live forever more. Death has no sting. Death is not the end.

Often when the Holy Spirit reveals someone's pain, He does it for a reason. He shows us what compassion is all about. He convicts our hearts and in that, humbles us. We are called to love another, encourage another, to lift up the fallen and strengthen them. We are all in this thing called life together.

May we learn to give each other the greatest gift of all. The love that is found in Christ. God always answers prayer and through it, He teaches us great things.
