The Gospel of Jesus Christ is a beautiful message of hope, of love and of redemption. No matter how far away from God we are, it's never too late to come home.
Jesus came for the broken hearted, the lost and the poor in spirit. He came to destroy the works of the devil in our lives and to reveal His Kingdom that is not of this world.
He didn't come to make our lives easier but He came to challenge us and to offer us a choice. Will we follow Him or remain in captivity? Will we choose the world and all its pleasures that is only for a moment or choose a path so narrow that only a few will follow?
To follow Christ means to die to ourselves and to see our old selves crucified on that Cross with Christ. Who we were before Christ, falls away. We were buried with Him and we were raised into a new creation through Him. Therefore it's impossible to remain the same person after an encounter with Jesus Christ.
The Gospel of Christ is a message that changes lives and prepares us for the world to come. Its not a prosperity gospel that makes us rich in the present world. It's not a gospel that allows us to sit around and debate. It's a gospel that keeps us moving so that we can pay it forward and be a light in a very darken world.
The most beautiful gift we can ever give someone, is the message of hope, the message of Christ.
