Jesus sat down and ate with a man who He knew would betray Him but it didn’t change His plan or purpose. At times we gather with people who will let us down, lie about us, steal from us, you name it. But even Judas played a part in God's master plan.

Satan thought he won when Jesus was captured, but little did he know the victory awaiting at the Cross. Things didn't turn out that great for Judas, but Jesus is seated at the right Hand of the Father.

When we have learned to love our enemies and pray for them, we have conquered the final frontier in our walk with Jesus. When we learn to sit at the table with our Judas, we can understand the love of Christ.

People’s jealousy or actual attempts to stand in our way will never ever make a difference to what God has in store for us.

In fact, those things can only delay God’s plan, but not deny them. Promotion comes from God and not people.

Joseph went from the pit to prison and then to the palace, all within the perfect will of God.

Through it all, he had a heart for God and never let go of his dreams. He was humble and obedient. He was willing to follow God’s lead and he was willing to forgive.

God allowed Joseph’s suffering, just as Jesus's betrayal because of the bigger picture.
