Life in christ by stella ashworth
Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. Too often we overlook the power of the message that lies within the completed work of the Cross.
An abundant life is not measured by the cars we drive, the houses we live in or the amount of money in our bank account. All of that has no eternal value. None of those things can make us whole, complete us or guarantee us peace. It cannot buy us a place in Heaven.
Abundance of life lies within a broken heart that has been restored. A tear that has been wiped dry.
A life that has been restored. A hope that shined through in the darkest of nights. A mind transformed from negative and destructive thoughts. A peace that drove out all anxiety and all fear. A love that continues to heal all things and forgives all things. Abundance of life means a life made right with God through the sacrifice on the Cross of Calvery.
The Bible is a Book of Redemption, the greatest love story ever written about a Man who loved us so much that He laid down His life for us. The path taken through the Cross of Christ heals us, restores us, gives us a new hope, a new dream and it reveals to us the plans that God has for our lives. Plans to prosper us and not to harm us. Plans to give us a future and a hope. (Jeremiah 29:11). I encourage you to seek the life that is through the Cross of Christ.
