No Longer I but Christ by stella ashworth
Dear Friends in Christ,
In Christ, we are new creations. The old has passed away; the new has come. This is not poetic language or religious symbolism, it is a divine reality.
When Christ makes us new, He does not renovate the old life; He replaces it. What once defined us no longer has authority over us. Our past does not speak louder than the cross. Our identity is no longer rooted in who we were, but in Who He is.
We are called to be living testaments of Christ, walking epistles, read by a watching world. Our lives are meant to proclaim what our lips confess: that Jesus Christ saves, transforms, and reigns.
We carry His message not as spectators, but as witnesses. Not from platforms of self-promotion, but from lives surrendered.
The gospel was never meant to stop with us. It moves outward, to the ends of the earth, carried by those willing to die to themselves so that Christ may be seen.
This calling is not about us. It is not about building our name, our brand, or our following. It is not about drawing attention to our gifts, our voices, or our influence.
It is about Christ and Christ alone.
He must increase; we must decrease. When Christ is truly exalted, self fades into the background, and obedience takes center stage.
