Serving in the House of the Lord is a sacred calling, not a platform for personal validation or entertainment. It is an act of worship, obedience, and stewardship that reflects our love for God and His people.

Scripture makes it clear that our service is not about seeking recognition but about fulfilling the mission Christ has given us. Jesus commanded His followers to "go and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). Serving in God’s house means actively participating in this mission, whether through preaching, evangelism, or demonstrating Christ’s love in our daily lives.

Our service should always point people to salvation in Christ, not to ourselves. Ephesians 4:11-12 states that God has given leaders to the church "to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ." True service strengthens, encourages, and prepares believers to grow in their faith and fulfill their own God-given purposes.

It is not about performance but about edification and spiritual maturity. James 1:27 defines pure religion as "to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world."

Service in God’s house extends beyond church walls, it involves caring for the vulnerable, defending the oppressed, and meeting the needs of the poor. Jesus Himself set the example of servanthood: "The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve" (Matthew 20:28).

Our service should reflect His humility, love, and selflessness. It is not about gaining attention or applause but about glorifying God and advancing His kingdom. Serving in the House of the Lord is about fulfilling the Biblical mandate to reach the lost, disciple believers, and care for those in need.

It is an opportunity to reflect Christ’s love and bring glory to God, ensuring that our motives align with His divine purpose rather than personal ambition.
