When Obedience Becomes Worship by stella ashworth
The greatest way to honour the Lord is not by standing still in fear, but by moving forward in faith. God is not glorified by hesitation, hiding, or shrinking back. He is honoured when we walk boldly and courageously in who He has called us to be.
When He speaks, obedience is our worship. When He calls, movement is our praise. Faith is not passive. It steps out before everything makes sense. It trusts God enough to obey even when the path feels uncertain.
Throughout Scripture, God moved through people who were willing to go, Abraham left, Moses confronted, Esther stood, Peter stepped out of the boat.
Delay often looks spiritual, but obedience is action. We honour the Lord when we stop rehearsing our past and start walking in our calling.
When we refuse to let fear, opinions, or comfort dictate our steps. When we believe that if God called us, He will sustain us.
Bold faith declares: “Here I am, Lord. I will go.” Move forward. Heaven responds to obedience.
God is glorified when His children walk in courage, confidence, and conviction, fully aligned with who He created them to be.
I encourage you, dear beloved in Christ, to move forward in faith. Do not be afraid of the unknown, for the Lord goes before you.
Step out with courage, trusting His voice and His promises, knowing that obedience unlocks His power and His presence in your life.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
